Halloween Nails: Week #1 All Eyez on Me

As everyone already knows Halloween is my favorite holiday. One of the ways I am celebrating this year is with my nail art. This week is all about EYES !

 
I used three designs, the thumb and pinky comes from Robin Moses Nail Art's googly eye youtube tutorial. The ring and pointer finger are based on The Fashion Magazine's Dior inspired manicure and, the middle finger is the infamous Wah bloodshot eye design. I love them, they freak my student's out, and I can't stop looking at them. The only downside is that I have this song stuck in my head, and I am not a big Tupac fan, he was terrifying in Juice.

Blast from the Past:80's

I knew that most of my campers and co-workers would go in the Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, or aerobics inspired direction for the 80's so I went with old school hip-hop. I love a good sweat suit and I usually buy myself one every year or so. I have not found any shoes to match my teal Adidas one so I wore a floral Kangol inspired hat to tie my pink Adidas in to the rest of the outfit. My hair is in a side french braid. You might recognize the  finger rings from this post.

Blast from the Past: 70's

I love  the 70's and I had a hard time choosing an outfit. I knew that I wanted to do something glam, but practical for work so I settled on a Farrah Fawacett/ Donna Summer big soft curly hair. I did a bantu knot out on stretched hair. I only kept the knots in for one night and they created adequate curls and volume, but they would have probably been better if I kept them in longer. I wore a pair of high waisted pants that I love but rarely wear, one of my favorite button down shirts, and polka dot wedges.

Everyone loved this outfit. My co-workers and some of our camper's parents started to accuse me of buying outfits especially for camp ! I just have a medium sized wardrobe and a big imagination.
